Description:
Global Synthetic Equity (GSE) Trade Support is a support role to equity finance trading desk located in HK.
The desk covers APAC markets and its product coverage includes Swaps, Equity Linked, Warrants, Stock Borrow and Loan.
Primary responsibilities of this role are to ensure trades are captured and all exceptions are followed up on a timely and accurate basis.
This role will involve intensive communication with the trading desk, other Operations departments, technology and Finance. This requires basic understanding of cash equity and equity derivatives products, related operational flows and market practices.
The candidate is expected to be numerate, with strong analytical and communication skills.
Requirements:
Our ideal candidate should have the following requisites:
- Pro-active, self-starter.
- Strong equity product knowledge, preferably with at least 2 years working in derivative area, or related field
- A strong degree in Mathematics, Finance or a related subject
- Effective communication skills
- Strong Microsoft knowledge preferred
