Summary:
? Fixed Income and Equity settlement platform Functional analysis, project management and client management
? Project planning, resource management for Operations IT projects
? Local and off-shore vendor relationship management
? Interaction with Local market entities such as Jasdec, BOJ, JSFC
Responsibilities:
? Manage a team of internal and external resources for providing day to day production and platform support for Equity and Debt settlement operations.
? Manage assigned projects and initiatives.
? Prepare project plans and cost estimates for projects and initiatives.
? Conduct regular status meeting with the GBS Managers and users for projects and for on going support.
? Maintain project financials and budgets
? Manage IT application and platform risks.
? Manage local and vendors in other locations including contracts, SLAs and resources working on projects and support.
Key Competencies:
? Business and product knowledge in Equity and Debt settlements of Japan market.
? Analysis and problem solving - First class expertise in conceptualisation and solution definition, Requirement, Functional, technical documentation
? Technology knowledge and expertise, Identifying and implementation of commercial solutions
? Workflow/Process reengineering/analysis
? Customer and service orientation, Commitment and priority setting
? Integrity, trust and fairness, Performance orientated
Qualifications/ Experiences:
? University Graduate
? Minimum 6 years experience in IT including, application development, analysis and project management with at least 3 years experience in Finance Industry
? Experience in managing medium sized teams.
? Experience in maintaining project and program financials and costs.
? Experience in conducting project status meetings with the team, internal / external clients
? Experience in vendor management.
Skills:
? Bilingual in Japanese and English
? Technically Skills in Java, Oracle, Sybase and web technologies
? Good inter-personal skills
? Good knowledge on Settlement systems process flow for both equity and debt products.
? Good Project management with proven track record of managing medium to large scale project
? Good People management skills
? Ability to work in a multi-cultural team environment
? Good technical and project documentation skills
