Overview:
Provide analytical and strategic support to meet the needs of GTS Trade Senior Management. Position includes business development, strategic planning, product roll-out and various strategic initiatives to support the high growth Trade business.
Team provides a wide range of analytical support to global / regional / local teams. Examples include launching new capabilities, rolling out existing capabilities to new regions, developing new partnerships and driving intellectual thinking around impact from various regulatory changes (e.g. Basel III).
Responsibilities:
- Lead/coordinate strategic initiatives and key management objectives
- Competitive analysis and business intelligence giving insight into key trends
- Assist in global product rollouts as appropriate
- Execute multiple projects under time pressure and with limited resources
- Build consensus throughout the Trade organization and with key partners

Skills
- Trade business knowledge a plus but not required; banking experience required
- Credit/Corporate Finance skills useful
- Management consulting or business strategy experience preferred
- Financial acumen and analytical aptitude including modelling and statistical analysis
- Project management experience and previous experience working with senior management
- Analytical/critical thinking skills to understand key business drivers, evaluate strategic options, influence executive decision making and drive results
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proactive professional approach
- Willingness to work / thrive in collaborative environment working with partners across all disciplines
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Communications skills to effectively present findings to senior management; ability to convey complex matters in a concise manner
- BA (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of banking experience
- 10+ years of overall business experience with increasing levels of experience
- Independent thinker with strong desire to learn about the business
- Sense of ownership and urgency
- Able to influence and direct people without formal reporting relationship
- Ability to interact at senior management level
- 'Roll-up your sleeves' type of person who drives results with little 'hand-holding'
