Goldensource Product Manager recruitment

Background
MG have recently completed a significant upgrade to it's GoldenSource Enterprise Data Management Platform. In addition to regular product upgrades, patches and fixes, there are a significant number of changes required as a result of business initiatives. The GoldenSource Product manager will ensure that all these changes are delivered within a robust, manageable, repeatable framework in line with those used throughout the Integration team. The GoldenSource Product manager is also responsible for maintaining the MAGiX Schema in line with any business requirements to change it, and any associated Mapping Documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver the release.
The primary goal of the GoldenSource Product Manager is to work with the Service Manager and Integration Technical Lead to ensure that the -release' is successfully delivered. The scope of the release is defined at the Iteration planning meeting.

Liaise with the GoldenSource Business System Owner .
It is vital that the GoldenSource Product Manager maintains close links with the Business System owner and is fully conversant with requirements of the Data Management Team. Either directly with the Business System owner, or via Business Analysts.

Take a leading role at the Monthly Iteration planning meeting.
This meeting is intended to define the scope of the release. It draws down in priority order from the Order Book. The default priority is (1) Roadmap (2) Small Projects (3) Production defects (4) technical debt - but discretion is allowed to ensure that the scope of the release can be delivered and includes perceived 'low' priority technical work.

Maintain the Whiteboard.
The whiteboard is a task summary of the iteration. It details progress of all of the tasks that are in the iteration.

Chair the daily standup.
The 10 minute stand up meeting occurs at the start of the working day. The whole team attends. It is a brief meeting to discuss progress on tasks. To ensure all team members are occupied with Order Book tasks and to ensure any blocking issues are given immediate attention.

Ensure the quality of the deliverables in the release.
QA should be done by peers. The GoldenSource Product Manager is responsible for making sure this is being carried out.

Maintain the Order Book.
All members of the team are able to maintain the Order Book on MKS integrity. It is the responsibility of each team member to keep the status of each item that they work on in an up-to-date state. GoldenSource Product Manager gets final say on estimates, scope etc.

Attend and contribute to the Retrospective review meeting.
The retrospective review is intended to close out any issues/problems encountered during the iteration. During the course of the iteration, the team's focus is on getting the release delivered and work-arounds to issues should be accepted where possible. The retrospective gives an opportunity to take a step back and get any of these issues/workarounds sorted properly.

The GoldenSource Product Manager is expected to communicate daily with the Service manager and the Integration Technical Lead. Appraising him/her of any issues, opportunities and generally updating about the state of the release.

The GoldenSource Product Manager would normally be expected to notify the Product and/or Data Architect of any deviation from standard architecture, or any solution that may compromise the long term strategy goals of the overall systems architecture at MG.
