Governance and Control Project Manager recruitment

A leading city based fund of funds manager is looking to hire a Governance and Control Project Manager on a temporary basis for six months. The company has been delivering a range of private equity investment solutions to an array of clients and the firm currently manages over £20 billion for over 200 clients. The firm has undergone a period of growth over the last year, much of this has been attributed to the calibre of the staff they hire.

The company is undergoing structural change and as a result they require an experienced Governance and Control Project Manager to oversea transitional alterations within their finance and operations team. Key Responsibilities include:

-Review of existing financial control frameworks and establishing new governance framework
-Assessing and implementing change around financial control frameworks
-Risk Control framework analysis
-Liaising with both finance and operations department to fully implement the required frameworks

In order to be consider for this role; you will require to have:

-Accounting qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or overseas equivalent); ideally the candidate will have started his career within practice and moved into financial services
-End to end project management experience is required
-Internal audit experience would be useful- in particular exposure to SAS 70 and IAS 3402
-Demonstrable experience in reviewing and implementing financial control and governance frameworks is essential
-Private Equity experience would be beneficial; however financial services experience is essential
