A leading Engineering solutions provider is looking for Graduate Calibre Mechanical to join an intensive 3 year training programme designed to equip high flying graduate calibre engineers with the skills and experience required to take them forward in their career within the company.

Key Tasks Responsibilities

You will be will be engaged on projects in an engineering, procurement and construction environment as a member of an engineering and design delivery team, working closely with other engineering disciplines. Mechanical systems and plant include gas turbines, compressors, turbo-expanders, pumps, process columns, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, mechanical handling, and complex pipework and valve systems. A suite of CAE analysis and 3D modelling software is central to the design process.

Key responsibilities are for the design and/or specification of major plant components, technical management of the supply chain and construction support. The breadth of technical skills acquired during the training programme includes design for static and dynamic load conditions, knowledge of international design codes of practice, stress analysis, corrosion/failure mechanisms, laser data capture, material forming, welding processes and non destructive testing. These are technically demanding roles, with lead positions requiring project management skills to deliver to schedule and budget in a commercially competitive industry.

You'll have gained a Degree within a Mechanical Engineering discipline and will be career focused. Ideally you'll have previously worked with CAE analysis and 3D modelling software, along with stress analysis, welding This is a fantastic opportunity to accelerate your career within a leading Engineering company within the Nuclear Process and Power Sectors.
