Graduate Development Programme recruitment

The FSA is the UK’s sole financial services regulator. We work to maintain market confidence, target and reduce financial crime, and protect consumers.

By the end of 2013, the FSA will be replaced by two new regulatory bodies. These will carry forward our philosophy of outcomes-based regulation, intensive firm supervision and credible deterrence.

This restructure of our framework offers an exciting opportunity to make your mark in financial regulation. The work is challenging, but our schemes are designed to ensure you’re fully prepared to make a valuable contribution from day one. After an intensive induction period, it’s straight down to work with an allocation to one of our business areas before enjoying a series of rotations across the organisation that will increase your knowledge of the entire sector. With continuous training throughout your career, you’ll also have the opportunity to undertake an external secondment, and be sponsored to achieve a professional qualification.

As well as our overarching Graduate Development Programme, we also offer the chance to specialise on our Management Accountancy, IT, Economics and Risk Specialist programmes.

You will need to have gained, or be expecting, a 2:1 or above in any subject. As well as having a strong commercial awareness, you’ll also be a proactive team player with the confidence and people skills to build effective working relationships and make a real impact on those around you. Above all, you will have the drive and ambition to make the most of these attributes in an environment where you'll have your wits tested, but not your hand held.

If you want a career in finance, join an organisation that’s at the heart of it.
