This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a Graduate Geologist to gain first had exposure with an international mining company. Our client is an innovative coal mining and exploration company with projects located across the country. As one of the largest tenement holders in the Galilee Basin, it has already established resources and reserves in excess of 4 Billion tonnes.
Due to continued success they are now seeking an Gradate Geologist to join there team on an immediate contract.
Duties will include:
- Core and chip logging, geophysical interpretation
- Geotechnical logging and coal quality sampling of drill core
- Data acquisition, manipulation and management
- Ensuring the quality of data collected
- Liaising with team members, you will be heavily involved in contributing to the
field based aspects of the company’s strategic plan - A tertiary qualification in Geology
- Circa 6 months field experience
- A demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team
- A willingness to learn
The successful candidate will have the following:
