Graduate IT consultant- Hedge Fund recruitment
I have an excellent role for a graduate infrastructure analyst . The right candidate will have a good educational background preferably with a science based degree (computer science, physics, electrical engineering). You will be working closely with vendors, consultants, systems and network engineers, quantitative traders, programmers and senior management to provide a high performance, robust infrastructure to support all aspects of the business. Over time the scope of the role is likely to cover many aspects of IT infrastructure
Key attributes:
- Keen researcher; enthusiasm to research and trial a variety of technologies, ideas and possible solutions whilst maintaining focus on delivering.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Exceptional technology skills relative to level of experience, outstanding amongst peers
- Interest in systems administration, the likely candidate will have configured and built their own networks and machines, and will have learned a great deal about the operation of the machines through that experience and their general curiosity in IT
- Proven experience with complex problem resolution.
Key skills:
Strong IT skills developed through personal computing use and studying
Desirable:
Strong programming/Scripting ability (Python/Perl) and experience of developing modular code is preferred
