Graduate Programmer – Leading Algo Hedge Fund – West London recruitment
This is a role with a heavy focus on enabling business and supporting live trading systems. It would suit someone who is interested in trading and wants to use technology as part of their job but does not want to purely be a programmer. The successful candidate will be a confident individual with a strong personality who can communicate clearly and effectively.
Required skills:
- At least a 2:1 degree from a top tier university in computer science.
- Mental agility with the ability to perform under pressure.
- Experience of programming languages across any of SQL, Python, VBA, C#.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- A strong personality coupled with outstanding communication skills.
- Evidence of interest in trading and financial markets.
Responsibilities:
- Real time problem solving of trading issues in a live trading environment.
- Ensuring systematically generated trading signals are efficiently executed.
- Working with front office and back office development teams on the resolution of trading issues.
- Development of a monitoring suite for algorithmic execution tools (C#, SQL)
