Graduate Trader recruitment

The bit about us

As a leading, independent, global market-making group, we value teamwork, innovation, integrity and a genuine passion for what we do.

These values ensure we do an excellent job of providing the best derivative prices to the international market. We’re also the principal investor of our business. Having no clients means we’re continually investing in our own growth. As a result, we now have offices in Amsterdam, Chicago, Hong Kong, Sydney and Taipei.

From the Sydney office we trade on a range of markets, including Australia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan and Korea, in all the major indices. With a portfolio that boasts more than 60 equity derivatives.

It’s different here

We prefer an informal, fun and comparatively flat structure that encourages innovation and collaboration. The kind of environment that gives you the freedom to be the best you can be, offers challenging work and keeps us at the top of our game.

As a trader you’ll work with highly advanced systems in an exciting trading environment. You’ll be responsible for providing both a bid and an ask price to the market. You’ll work closely with our IT teams to perfect existing trading strategies and implement new strategies. You’ll receive lots of training and career development opportunities.

Plus there’s the gym membership, breakfast and lunch every day in our onsite cafeteria, weekly massages and lots more!

 Who you are

You need to be a penultimate, final year or recently degree qualified in a quantitative discipline, boasting a Distinction-average. You’re a conceptual thinker who thrives on solving problems and coming up with brilliant ideas. You’ve got a flair for numbers as well as a passion for finance and the markets. A good sense of humour, nerves of steel and a thirst for success are also essential. And if you really want to stand out from the crowd skills in Excel, VBA or Python will help.
