As a business, Understanding Recruitment has continued to go through substantial growth within the IT/Technical Recruitment market and are now looking to add a number of quality Graduate Trainee Recruitment Consultants/Recruiters to our already successful environment/culture.
We have a simple vision, to provide the best IT recruitment solution to the market, for both clients and candidates, and to provide exceptional training and career opportunities for all our Graduates Trainees. We are seeking bright, determined, sales orientated trainees who want the chance to break in to recruitment with one of the region's most successful consultancies (no previous experience of knowledge of the recruitment or IT market is needed).
You will be involved in the whole lifecycle from generating new business, closing job offers, arranging interviews to developing and account managing a portfolio of impressive clients. Further Graduate Trainee/Recruiters responsibilities include:
- Undertaking candidate searches for key assignments (including advertising/headhunting etc)
- Ownership and responsibility for building, developing and running your own business area
- Advertising vacancies on key jobsites/social media sites
- Meeting clients to discuss their needs as well as proposing solutions
- Undertaking in-depth candidate interviews
- Offering guidance, advice and consultancy to our client and candidates on the IT market
- Communicating with and qualifying candidates for specific assignments
- Offer management with successful candidates
As an organisation, we provide an impressive industry leading Graduate Training Induction Programme for the first six months of your employment. This will cover all aspects of the lifecycle from interviewing candidates through to successful negotiation techniques. All new employees will work closely with some of the industries most successful consultants, where you will be provided with clear leadership / mentoring and management to ensure you move up the career ladder, fulfill your financial goals and have a rewarding and satisfying position.
We are seeking talented graduates with a strong degree in any discipline. Alongside the degree the key qualities that you will need to succeed are a natural flair for sales, drive, ambition, determination, professionalism, assertiveness, confidence and an articulate telephone manner.
You will also have a determination to over achieve with excellent attention to detail. Our starting basic salaries start off at £18,000 - £20,000 with on target earnings of £35,000 in Year 1. We would expect a successful candidate to earn £50,000 in Year 2 and £60,000 - £100,000 in Year 3. We also offer an annual trip abroad including destinations including Monaco, Nice and Las Vegas.
