We are seeking to temporarily fill a Graphic Designer position in our St. Petersburg, FL office. The assignment will run from April 9, 2012 until June 22, 2012. This position is critical to business marketing efforts including - Website changes/updates/mgmt, direct marketing campaigns, tradeshow graphics support, events support (Client Advisory Board, etc), internal graphics support, communications, etc. Responsibilities: This position will design electronic and printed materials, exhibit elements, and illustrations for a variety of marketing collateral materials, displays, and other media. They will conceptualize, design, and produce all manners of marketing and sales collateral materials, advertisements, newsletters, and additional design-related projects as needed. Candidates will help create interactive software demonstrations and other multimedia tools for our sales force. Serves as a liaison with production personnel, authors, publishers, clients, and printing representatives on design and technical graphics issues; also provides technical advice and guidance. This position coordinates the printing production process to ensure quality, writes printing and other reproduction specifications, and proofs for accuracy. Coordinates a graphics and photographic library and maintains digital records. Other job-related task assigned as needed. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent, an Associate's Degree in Graphic Arts or other related field(s) desired. They will have 3-5 years of related experience and knowledge of principles and practices of graphic design. Must possess the ability to create and produce graphic materials using a range of media, methods, techniques, and equipment. Candidates will need to be familiar with specified computerized graphic design programs including Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, Quark, Macromedia, and/or In Design. Strong verbal and written skills required. Must be familiar with budget development and management skills as related to the production of new digital or traditional media communications. The position requires skills in the entire Adobe Creative Suite (CS5), with an emphasis on html work with emails and Websites, Flash presentation creation, and would be helpful to have experience with a Website content management system and a Marketing Automation. Most work will be done in InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver for Web and some print production.
