Graphic Designer
Production Artist This position requires a skilled graphic designer with top-notch production skills to meet our customer requirements. Primary responsibility is processing custom order artwork, which requires strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. This is not a design position, but requires good design sense. Requirements : · 2+ years of graphic design/production experience · Demonstrated knowledge of Mac graphic design tools including: CS3 (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, InDesign) and Quark · Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel · Strong attention to detail to carefully, thoroughly and accurately complete tasks · Working understanding of layout, type and color · Ability to prepare files for print and web applications · Knowledge of fonts and proficiency with font matching · Strong written, verbal and listening communication skills · Follow written and verbal directions and work within a defined workflow process · Highly organized with proven time management skills · Maintain focus under pressure/deadlines and handle conflicting priorities · Ability to work in teams and effectively cross function with other departments
