Graphic Designer
Sakar International is an electronics manufacturer based in Edison, New Jersey. We currently have two openings in our Art department for graphic designer to work with our team of designers. Must be able to meet tight deadlines and manage projects effectively.
1-2 years of experience preferred
Candidates must be smart, energetic and creative. Individual must be able to multi-task, and share ideas and suggestions. Must be comfortable both giving direction and working independently.Requires ‘hands-on' creative for design projects. Needs an understanding of branding and also oversee the supervision of the rest of the design team.
Requirements:
• Portfolio with examples of print experience a MUST
• Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts or Graphic Design or related experience
• Advance skills in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign
• Experience in package design
• Capable of working on projects from inception to completion
• Prior experience working in extremely hectic and fast paced environments
• Strong attention to detail
• Good organizational skills
• Excellent visual design and layout skills with great attention to detail
• Licensing experience a plus
• Administrative skills helpful, to follow up with clients for Artwork changes and approvals, also to coordinate with other departments.
