We are currently looking for a Graphic Designer Lead/Manager – 24309 in Chicago, IL

 

Position Summary:

 

As part of the LC Marketing the Graphic Designer position is focused on translating current key product UI screens (device res) into hi-resolution assets to address  a broad range of creative needs. Based on creative brief from the product marketing team  S/he will provide UI illustrations for use internally as part of product vision work and externally as product demos, presentations and print communications.

 

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

·         Create UI concept and design for marketing purposes including vector based illustrations for use in product demos,  videos, presentations, and print communications  ( including POP, Tradeshow, and internal posters)

·         Develops Product use case scenario concepts and visualizes these scenarios with custom UI screenshots (i.e. support storytelling).

·         Creates "Hero" illustrations of key product screens on device, web or html5, used in presentations, web based demos and print media, videos, packaging, inbox leaflets, retails posters/banners as well as Executive keynote presentations     

·         Creates hi-resolution 2D device renderings of devices for presentations and large format print media

·         Translates current key product UI screens (device res) into hi-resolution assets for print media  

·         Creates a variety of information graphics/diagrams and animations for power point presentations

·         Select photos to help illustrate product stories, understanding brand positioning and usage rights

·         Design and creation of visual assets in appropriate formats as part of product marketing vision work

·         Brainstorm and mock up design ideas

·         Expert use of any relevant software to create innovative solutions while adhering to a brief

·         Modify, revise and edit projects as required by internal stakeholders

·         Effectively storyboard and translate ideas to develop innovative graphic solutions

·         Stay within timelines and deadlines for completion dates for projects

·         Provide additional creative input to the LC  Marketing team, where appropriate

 

Requirements:

 

·         Bachelor’s degree (Graphic Design)

·         8+ years experience in a marketing role in either a corporate or agency environment

·         Must be fluent in major design software; Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark Xpress?;

·         Must be proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint and Word

·         Bonus for Omnigraffle or Visio wireframing tools.

·         Experience in managing multiple projects servicing several constituencies.

·         Demonstrates strong knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, form and color theory, proportion and balance.

·         Willingness to learn. Both in a creative and technical sense

·         Good time management and organizational skills

·         A strong design style that is demonstrated with a portfolio of samples

·         The ability to work as part of a team
