Graphic Designer/Web Editor
Albany Law School seeks candidates for the position of Assistant Director of Marketing Creative Services. The position is responsible for integrating marketing strategies and messages into engaging creative work, specifically for school publications, advertising and website.
Essential Job Functions
1. The position is responsible for designing and managing of school publications - print and electronic - that support student recruitment efforts, alumni engagement, community outreach, and internal communications for students, faculty and staff. Includes portfolio or printed materials for prospective students, monthly alumni electronic newsletter, special events invitations and promotional materials, fundraising material and more.
2. Supervises the design and preparation for the printing of all internal and external publications. Coordinates and approves campus printing projects. Secures bids from outsourced printers. Performs prepress checks. Oversees quality control of printing. Maintains high creative standards and supervises the implementation of Albany Law's graphic identity standards/branding and the work of other departments to ensure standards are met.
3. Manages a wide portfolio of school web pages that support student recruitment and campus communication, collaborating with other departments to develop and update content.
4. Works with staff in Information Technology Services and outside vendors to manage/recommend structural changes in the website.
5. Maintains online vehicles for publications and video.
