-- Graphics Designer-01117718 Description Key Role: Provide cutting edge visual aesthetic to conceptualize, design, and develop compelling print and Web-based products. Gather raw data from various sources, including from in person interviews, e-mail, briefings, meetings, and phone calls and develop comprehensive, clear, and visually engaging graphics, charts, and briefings. Participate in all stages of development lifecycle from initial concept, gathering requirements, and conducting stakeholder interviews, to design, pre-press, and distribution strategy. Work in a collaborative team environment and maintain responsibility for each project. Apply knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office and display the ability to use multiple design tools to develop high-end, forward leaning visual brand collateral. Provide Web design and development expertise. This position will require a portfolio or samples at time of interview. Qualifications Basic Qualifications: -5 years of experience with graphics design -Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or Acrobat -TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph required -AS degree required Additional Qualifications: -Experience with gathering raw data from various sources and developing clear, concise graphics and presentations -Experience with using Microsoft Office products -Experience with leveraging creative typographic treatments -Experience with Web design and development preferred -Experience with copy editing and writing preferred -Experience with customer support and collaboration expertise -Knowledge of Adobe InDesign and publication design a plus -Knowledge of World Wide Web and multimedia technologies -Ability to be a self-starter -Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills -BS degree preferred Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
