POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Graphic Designer/Multimedia Specialist is primarily responsible for producing and managing marketing material for both print and electronic media. This person works with internal clients, external clients, and third party vendors to ensure concepts, designs and deliverables meet the Company’s standard, all within a deadline-driven environment.

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Uses solid design knowledge and graphic design skills to create unique marketing collateral for use in print and electronic media

o        Creates/updates/manages marketing products from inception to final deliverable, including brochures, ads, postcards, marketing books, broadcast emails, websites, databases, reports, proposals, presentations, banners, aerials, maps, floor plans, site plans, tour books and templates, which may include:

§         coordination or creation of any necessary artwork, photography or graphic assets as needed

§         creating mock ups, attending press checks and managing print jobs

·         Manages multiple corporate and property websites

o        Manages domain hosting and maintenance

o        Develops and manages websites and web-portal pages

o        Researches and tests various web-based solutions to fit client needs

o        Schedules and leads bi-monthly meetings with corporate web vendor

o        Analyzes website performance and analytics and makes recommendations for improvements

·         Researches and implements new technology as it applies to marketing or client needs

·         Oversees Touch Screen media, content, graphics and vendor services

·         Coordinates with vendors (printers, photographers, consultants)

o        Obtains quotes, negotiates rates, prepares purchase orders, provides art direction, manages communication, monitors quality control, and follows up on invoices

·         Manages color printers and large format plotter inventory

o        Researches and analyzes color printer options to make recommendations to the company for replacement equipment

o        Oversees and assists with plotter maintenance, equipment and supplies

·         Provides user assistance for audio-visual equipment and collaborates with IT staff to provide solutions to issues with on-site audio-visual equipment

·         Performs miscellaneous office work such as; copying, scanning, mail, packages, internal pick-ups/deliveries/ distributions, and taking staff photos

·         Completes other duties as assigned and provides backup support to other marketing positions
