The Position

Wellington currently seeks an experienced equity portfolio manager to develop an investment approach for the Greater China equity marketplaces using his/her own research ideas and ideas offered by the firm's global industry analysts, macro analysts, quantitative research and market research groups.

This is an entrepreneurial opportunity to build and manage a fund within a successful global investment firm. The Portfolio Manager will establish and implement portfolio investment strategy, ultimately leading a team of research analysts.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years in investment management, with specific experience in a Greater China equity portfolio management role
• Competitive track record as a Greater China equity manager or a member of a successful team
• Broad fundamental analysis and successful record of stock selection
• Experience interfacing with clients and prospects in an institutional client environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and experience in a collaborative results oriented environment
• Dedicated work ethic and attention to detail
• Strong academic credentials, with an MBA/CFA preferred
