Greenfield Java Algo Platform recruitment
Radley James has been retained by a Top Tier 1 Investment Bank to find an experienced Core Java, Low Latency Developer build a Greenfield Front Office Hybrid Electronic Trading platform working directly with the Quant Traders.
Our client, a Leading Tier 1 Investment Bank has a major franchise business across FX and Rates and are now looking to expand their offerings with an award winning next generation platform. They are searching for an exceptional Core Java, Low Latency Developer to work with the team and drive forward this greenfield project. You will be part of an agile, entrepreneurial team, sitting with the quants and reporting directly into the business.
You will be responsible for:
- Working with senior members of the business / trading desks to understand requirements.
- Designing and architecting the entire system from scratch (Greenfield)
- Work with the team to build the new system.
- Working with the quants / traders to implement their models and algorithms into production.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience with Core Java,
- Excellent knowledge of:
o Multithreading
o Data Structures
o Java Virtual Machine
- Knowledge of low latency, market making systems.
- Experience leading projects / teams,
- Experience working directly with quants / traders
This role is aligned with the quants and reports directly into the business, therefore the successful candidate can expect above market rate compensation.
