Project / Change Manager - Finance Knowledge CPA/ CFA/ ACA/ Finance Change Transformation/ Banking/ General Ledger/ Greenfield Projects- Hong Kong
My client growing bank looking hire a strong Project Manager to work on key initiatives for 2012. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, be proactive, enthusiastic and teamwork oriented. This is an opportunity to work on Greenfield projects driven and run from Hong Kong!
There are numerous Global programmes in total across all businesses and functions and your role would be to work on one or more of these programmes with the focus on delivering change to Finance.
Project Responsibilities:
Planning of Finance activities as input into larger cross functional projects or for small finance sponsored projects
Defining resource requirements; Securing of resources; Perform cost-benefit analysis on project options
Liaising with Finance users and other areas to determine Finance requirements
Production of Functional Specifications; Preparation of test plans, test scripts, test scenarios; Preparation and performing System Test
Performing and co-ordinating implementations
Documentation, Implementation and training on process changes
Production of user procedures and training materials
Liaising with departments both internal and external to GBM and Asia Pacific region
Ensure proper documentation exists to evidence the business analytical work conducted throughout the project lifecycle
Performance of Post Implementation reviews Other Typical Responsibilities
Requirements:
Ideal profile is that of a Project Manager within Finance / Investment Banking
Solid knowledge of IT
Must have proven, solid PM skills.
CPA preferred or a solid understanding of accountancy and Finance systems.
Extensive experience working in a Finance line and / or a Finance project role within a financial markets / investment banking institution is mandatory
