Greenfield **Tier 1 investment bank Core java developer – SEcurities lending core java development recruitment

Stott and May have been exclusively asked for 2 weeks to source a vice president level Core Java developer for a tier 1 Investment bank.  This team that you would be working in is embarking on a 5 year journey to completely scrap and re build the global securities lending system across the bank. 

Currently the team is small and because of this requires a core java developer that is incredibly comfortable with working in an open team environment.  You need to be an expert with core java as well as all related technologies but it doesn't matter if you’re the best in the city at development, unless you can speak and work with others in the team. 

This is an incredibly special project because of the stage of development they are in. It is the most greenfield project we have heard of in the city and because it’s just embarked on phase one its incredibly exciting for a passionate technologist.  This is what the director for this is looking for, a technology passionate candidate.

Other related technologies would be useful especially knowledge of relational databases like DB2.  On top of that if you have experience of mentoring junior developers this would be a huge benefit.
