Greenhouse / Laboratory Technician
Kelly Services is in need of a Greenhouse Technician to join the team for a 6 month or more assignment at a Fortune 500 company in the Woodburn, OR area. The Technician will assist the Greenhouse Manager in operating the facility in support of various biotechnology-related projects. These projects will include managing the entire growth cycle of plant material, filling pots, planting seeds, irrigation, controlled pollination, seed processing and tracking of all processes. We are seeking a candidate in a science related field such as Agronomy, Horticulture, or Agricultural Engineering or a minimum 1-2 years relevant experience in plant management . Working independently and as part of a team is desired as well as attention to detail. Requirements of performing physical labor under greenhouse conditions and lifting of up to 25 lbs are necessary. Experience with the use databases to maintain and track processes is necessary. Background in nursery greenhouse is a plus. · Candidates working history and experience must indicate and provide examples of an ability to multitask · All candidates should be capable of passing a 7 year criminal background investigation and drug screen for consideration This position is recruited for by a remote Kelly office, not your local Kelly branch.
