GRINDING PROCESS DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER
Huffman Technologies, LLC, a Contour Precision Group company located outside Charlotte in Clover, SC is seeking a Grinding Process Development Engineer to join our growing business of “Shaping the Future with PrecisionTM”.

Together, this unique group of companies offers a wide range of advanced laser processing, superabrasive profile grinding and multi-axis abrasive waterjet manufacturing systems, software and services.
Responsibilities:
· Manage superabrasive grinding process engineering projects from concept to delivery.
· Conceptualize and coordinate the design, development and implementation of grinding processes for a variety of components (such as aerospace and gas turbine components) using multi-axis, high precision superabrasive grinding systems.
· Recommend appropriate grinding wheels, diamond rolls, fixtures and inspection tooling and fixtures.
· Operate multi-axis CNC grinding systems.
· Provide technical and trouble-shooting support.
· Perform demonstrations in support of sales and marketing.
· Conduct training and process development at customer facilities (travel required).
· Participate in advanced grinding process research and development projects.
· Participate on cross-functional engineering/sales team to deliver product and process improvements.
Qualifications:
· BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent manufacturing experience.
· Minimum of five (5) years experience in the development of precision grinding processes. Aerospace or turbine component manufacturing experience a plus.
· Experience using CAD or CAD/CAM software, preferably SolidWorks or AutoCad.
· Good communication, organization, analytical and problem solving skills.
· Ability to work on multiple projects and perform tasks and responsibilities within structured timelines.
· Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office products.
