On behalf of Atlet, Michael Page is now looking for a Group Accountant/Financial Controller.
Job Description
This position has two major areas of responsibility; Controller for the Norwegian company, Atlet Norway AS and Group Accountant for the parent company Atlet Group.
Controlling activities at Atlet Norway AS:
- Monthly book closing and consolidation to the parent company
- Compile and report local budgets and forecasts together with the local management team
- Follow-up on KPI and suggest improvements
- Report to the Atlet Group Management Team during the Monthly Review Meeting
- Monitoring the local audit and other external contacts
- Participate in and sometimes manage local improvement projects, e.g. system implementation
Group Accountant activities at Atlet Group:
- Consolidate the Atlet Groups monthly and annual accounts
- Report to Atlet Group's parent company Nissan Motor Ltd in Tokyo; outcome, budget and forecast for each company separately
- Collection, analysis and presentation of finance statistics as well as other ad hoc finance projects
- Participate in the production of the official public annual report
Requirements
- Educated to an MSc Degree level in finance
- At least three years experience of accounting and/or controlling, preferably from manufacturing
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach is essential
- Experience from working in an international environment
- High integrity and distinct communication skills
- Drive with a sense of urgency
- Very good skills in Excel is essential
- Experience of iScala, Agresso and Cognos is advantageous
- Experience of Group reporting is a plus
- Fluency in English, both orally and written
