My client is one of the world’s leading online retailer, who diversifies in multiple sectors.
A Group Accountant is needed on a 6 month temporary basis to be involved in the preparation of group statutory accounts and supporting the group audit planning activities. Reporting under UK GAAP and IFRS, you will be responsible for the compliance in financial reporting and will contribute to on-going development of financial reporting requirements, through the development and implementation of effective group financial controls and policies.
As Group Accountant, you will hold accountability for the preparation and analysis of monthly group balance sheet, monitor and report on key group project related expenditure and provide accounting guidance to the projects as required and will be the point of contact to liaise with other Business Finance personnel including partner services and partner tax teams, and will be able to communicate accounting matters and their implications across the wider business.
This opportunity would suit a qualified chartered accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) who is looking to gain experience within a innovative retailer and t someone who has been in a group accountant role previously, ideally within multinational company.
