Group Accountant Job in Leicester, Midlands Uk
My client is a UK Market Leader and due to internal restructure they now have a full time permanent need for a Qualified Group Accountant.
Key responsibilities will include: preparation of statutory accounts under UK GAAP, assisting in the preparation of consolidated group accounts, reconciling inter-company accounts and to develop good working relationships with all stakeholders.
The finance function is currently going through a period of process improvement and as such, the successful candidate will also be involved in ad hoc projects including the development of a new consolidation model to streamline the monthly reporting process along with other process improving initiatives.
You will need to be a technically strong accountant with significant exposure to UK GAAP. If you can demonstrate consolidation experience in medium / large sized businesses, this would be advantageous. You will be working in a supportive, hard working team with a clear progression structure.
