About our Client

Our client is an ASX Listed Mining Company with both local and international assets. They have significant current assets and strong financial backing in the market with the forecast to have one mine operating in the next six months. Due to this growth, a Group Accountant is required to join their established Finance team.

Job Description

Reporting to the Financial Controller, your main duties will include but not be limited to:

• Preparation of year end and half-year financial statements
• Overseeing and assisting with the preparation of consolidated management reports
• Assisting with preparation and consolidation of budgets and quarterly forecasts
• Preparation of the quarterly cash flow statement for lodging with ASX
• Other duties as assigned by the Financial Controller

The Successful Applicant

To be successful in this role you will ideally be CA/CPA Qualified with a proven track record within the mining industry. You will need to have experience within an Audit environment. To be considered you will have previous experience with ASX Reporting. The successful applicant will have good interpersonal skills and the ambition to progress within the organisation in the long term.
