Group Accountant Manager recruitment
A top Tier Bank with a significant UK presence are currently looking for a Qualified Accountant to join the business as a Group Accountant Manager.
Working in an experienced and capable team you will be bringing your strong technical accounting experience to support the Head of Group Financial Reporting. This will be to ensure that not only are Group statutory obligations met but that IFRS changes are addressed. You will also be expected to prepare and advise the business on any new procedures and policies.
This 'value-adding' position will allow an individual to get more involved in financial analysis and management reporting to the business as most of the account processing will be handled by an off-shore team. You must have prior experience of IFRS, UKGAAP, group consolidations and financial reporting processes. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential due to the exposure this position will have to senior management.
The ideal candidate will display an strong academic record. You will have a minimum of 2 years experience working in an Investment Bank or be a Newly Qualified Accountant from practice (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent). In addition to this you will have good systems skills with strong Excel and other relevant software.
