Group Accountant within growing Oil & Gas business recruitment
My client, medium sized, rapidly growing upstream oil company is seeking a Group Accountant qualified within a Big 4 accounting practice. A generous salary of £45-£55k is on offer depending on experience. Based in their Central London office, you will report to the Group FD and form an integral part of the business and be the main point of contact responsible for liaising closely with the international businesses in order to manage effective and timely reporting.
As Group Accountant your role is all encompassing and will involve the following:
*High level of technical competency
*Familiar with Group consolidations and tax
*Knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
*Ability to manage internal customer relations coupled with effective time management
You will need to be a self-starter with a confident approach and an enquiring mind, with experience or the desire to document new processes as the business grows and improve existing ones.
