Group Accounting Manager - FTSE 250 Business - Central London location - Become a key member of the finance function Our client is a leading global company with a strong presence in the ceramics, electronics and precious metals markets. A senior finance opportunity now exists for an experienced Group Accountant to work in their London office. Your responsibilities will include; · Control and completion of complex multi-currency group consolidations in order to produce all internal and external reports for the group, including: - Monthly flash and final management results; - Annual budget exercise; and - Half year and full year reporting to shareholders. · Ad hoc reporting - Building and maintenance of financial models as required, including those used for valuation purposes and impairment reviews. · Accounting policies - Responsible for maintenance and distribution of accounting policies that ensure compliance with IFRS. · Systems - Liaison with Group Systems Manager over maintenance and enhancement of all Group reporting systems. You will be a qualified accountant with a track record in taking responsibilities for group consolidations within a FTSE business. You will have highly developed communication skills and possess previous staff mentoring experience. This is an opportunity to work closely with a business that it a market leader.
