Job Title: Group Accounting / Reporting Consolidation

Purpose of position:
To establish and maintain a Group wide, international standard, accounting, financial reporting, and financial control environment. To manage the organization’s accounting, financial reporting and group consolidations.
Key Criteria:
• Reporting to the Accounting and Consolidation Manager, you will be responsible for a specific part of the preparation of accurate internal and external financial accounting and reporting.
• Advanced technical (e.g.US GAAP/IFRS/SOX) aptitude and experience in public company financial reporting matters
• Month-end close process, including financial statement analysis, preparation of monthly journal entries for the Global entities and the coordination review of monthly Intercompany accounting
• Ensure all monthly SOX documentation is prepared timely accurately and follow-up items are addressed on a timely basis.
• Support the regions on US GAAP accounting issues and provide accounting and reporting guidance to the regional Finance teams.
• International / multiple currency environment
• Assisting with preparation of consolidated reports
• SAP and Cognos Controller
Qualifications:
• Must have a recognized professional accounting qualification (CPA, CIMA, ACCA, etc.) and business/numerate degree.
• A minimum of 5 - 10 years experience including "Big 4" or large public accounting firm experience and large corporate accounting experience.
• Experience in SOX is desirable.
• Strong general accounting knowledge – General Ledger, Financial/SOX Reporting, Financial Analysis, etc.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including proficiency in IFRS and U.S. GAAP
