Group Chief Financial Officer – Financial Services recruitment
The role reports directly to the Group CEO and indirectly to Board of Directors Internal Audit Committee, you will be responsible for strategic planning matters, capital management, budgets, financial performance management, business forecasts, cost management, asset liability management and investor relations.
You will have in excess of 7 direct reports all working at group level including the head of finance for the consumer, commercial and corporate business lines as well as the group financial controller.
Within the role it is imperative that you lead the Group Finance Corporate Planning functions (including financial control, asset-liability management, capital management, taxation, strategic planning, and performance management) and be a pro-active member of the Group’s Top level Management Team. You must be able to direct the financial management and control function of the Group, ensuring financial, regulatory reporting, planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, asset-liability management and capital requirements are met, as well as providing vital business information to the management team, Audit Committee and Boards of Directors. Regional knowledge is a definite advantage and applications from returning Malaysians will be welcomed.
