About Communications

This role is part of the Group Communications division and will have involvement in both Internal Communications and Media Relations.
Internal Communications is responsible for providing effective and timely communications on Group and inter-business line issues to all Deutsche Bank employees, through global and regional channels. Press and Media Relations is globally responsible for overseeing all press and media activities throughout the Bank and for the application of press and media policies.

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with the regional Head of Internal Communications to create content for announcements and articles in the Asia Pacific region - including intranet, emails, and assists with event communications and internal marketing campaigns (e.g. Earth Week, International Women's Day). Drafts, submits for approval, and revises written material to meet corporate and brand standards
  • Prepares and sends fortnightly e-newsletter for Asia Pacific region utilizing Red Dot CMS and Mailer2K
  • Manages poster and/or plasma screen scheduling for Hong Kong and Singapore and liaises with Facilities/AV
  • Creates and maintains editorial calendar of planned articles; populates online calendars with regional events (both team Sharepoint and dbnetwork public regional calendar)
  • Maintains regional email distribution lists and liaises with technology teams to ensure their functionality
  • Assists with photo editing and podcast production. Assists in creating multimedia presentations for internal use. Works closely with internal resources and external vendors to ensure that internal media are as effective and robust as possible
  • Analyzes monthly web statistics and creates metrics reports (e.g. Communications dashboard) on usage of digital channels to ensure measurements are gathered and reported to key internal stakeholders
  • Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in communications, marketing, journalism, or public relations
  • Must possess strong technology skills, including intranet CMS management, Sharepoint, as well as demonstrated experience with setting up and utilizing internal social media (including blogs, wikis, surveys, etc)
  • Outstanding Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and especially PowerPoint
  • Outstanding writing skills and ability to write about complex financial products
  • Bilingual (English/Cantonese) preferred
