Group Compliance Assurance Senior Manager recruitment

Group Risk is an independent function responsible for ensuring there is an appropriate risk governance framework on a Group wide and divisional basis, and that day-to-day risks are managed effectively within this framework. The management of risk is a fundamental activity which underpins the Group's reputation, performance and future success. Our specialist teams are; Credit Risk, Market and Insurance Risk, Regulatory and Operational Risk, and Risk Infrastructure and Analytics.     

RBS manages its compliance risk in a manner which will support the organisation to achieve and maintain its goals of standalone strength and sustainable growth through maintaining market confidence, delivering stable earnings growth, maintaining capital adequacy, and providing efficient access to funding and liquidity.     

This is a high profile Group Compliance Assurance Senior Manager role, where you'll be accountable for ensuring that the Group’s compliance conduct risk profile is evaluated and managed appropriately, through undertaking risk-based, global assurance reviews and activities. You'll also be tasked with exercising oversight of key compliance issues arising in the Group, and ensuring the effective identification, assessment, management and monitoring of compliance risks in accordance with compliance requirements and risk management standards.

To be successful as Group Compliance Assurance Senior Manager, you'll have a broad knowledge of the compliance / legislative landscape across multiple jurisdictions, in relation to Wholesale Businesses. You'll also have the ability to work to tight deadlines and juggle a large number of conflicting and frequently changing priorities, along with exceptional learning agility, a keen desire to support others and a strong commitment to personal development.
