Group Consolidation Accountant recruitment
The team is in it's infancy despite the size of the organisation so the role will be hands on will the potential to grow as the team grows. The role will be primarily focused around the end to end Statutory Accounts production as well as monthly consolidation. This will involve planning, production and creation of a centre of excellence of the Financial Statements and Consolidation process across the Group.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assist in Statutory Accounts production including
o Detailed planning
o Resource allocation
o Governance
o Monitoring / Audit liaison
o Ownership of Filing
o Preparation of Subsidiary and Consolidated accounts
- Group Accountant / Consolidations
o Prepare consolidated management accounts on a monthly basis
o Balance sheet analysis and management commentary
o Involvement in the implementation of consolidation system and development of a consolidation model
The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant with experience in statutory accounts production (IFRS), with experience of Group Consolidation accounting in a multi country/currency environment. Strong communications skills are needed due to the relationships that need to be established and grown within various areas of the business.
