Group Finance Accountant
A leading organisation based in Skipton is looking to recruit an experienced Group Finance Accountant – Regulatory Reporting on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the Group’s regulatory reporting requirements, but will also have the opportunity to be involved in a number of other areas including Group forecasting and planning, Group management reporting, Group consolidation and statutory reporting.
As Group Finance Accountant, you will work towards a departmental plan, actively contribute to individual objectives and provide feedback on a regular basis, along with delivering excellent service to internal customers
In addition you will ensure that knowledge and information is effectively captured, analysed and utilised for the wide benefit of the business. You will also develop departmental policies that are kept up to date and in line with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
Furthermore, the successful candidate will continually review processes and delivery to ensure quality of services at all times. You will ensure close collaboration with relevant departments across the Group.
The successful post holder will have a keen eye for detail, be a fast learner, enthusiastic, possess the ability to communicate effectively with different levels of the organisation have the ability to organise their own work to focus on priorities. Candidates should be a qualified accountant with ideally 1 to 2 years post qualified experience, and experience in a financial services environment would be beneficial.
