Group Finance Assistant Manager - Surrey
A highly prestigious Asset Management firm based in Surrey are looking for a Group Finance Assistant Manager to join their team on a contract basis. This fantastic opportunity is available for an immediate start.
As Group Finance Assistant Manager you will be working within the Property team to help implement a new accounting system. As the system is being implemented and rolled out across the company you will act as the main point of contact for external contacts and will also be involved in undertaking the management accounting, budgeting and forecasting.
Additionally you will also be responsible for:
- Adapting monthly accounts to trial balance
- Assisting in producing month end management accounts
- Assisting with implementing new accounting software and migrating existing data
- Participating with budgets and forecasts
- Ensuring all accounts are tax compliant
- Completing VAT returns
Ideally you will be a part qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent) who is able to demonstrate excellent numerical and anlaytical skills. Experience producing management accounts and assisting with system migration would be highly advantageous. The successful candidate will have experience working in Property, although all backgrounds within Asset Management will be considered. Experience using Yardi and JD Edwards would be beneficial. Strong Microsoft Excel skills would be required for this role.
