Group Finance Controller recruitment
Responsibilities
As Group Financial Controller, the specific responsibilities will include the following:
- Primary task is the quantitative and qualitative analysis of any reporting provided by the various entities and formalization of any significant movements and deviations.
- Conduct financial audits of specific entities or specific areas.
- Participation in Due Diligence and valuation assignments.
- Participation in the review and validation of the annual reports of each entity including consolidated at Group level.
- Participation in the monitoring of the relations with Group External Auditors.
- Implementation of various reporting at Group level.
- To contribute to the analysis of the various accounting principles applied in the entities and their impacts at Group level.
- To monitor the correct application of the Group accounting guidelines in coordination with the local financial departments of each entity or with other departments within the Group.
Communication and reporting
- Implement and provide regular control reportings to the Group CFO.
- Interaction within the Group Finance Function and local financial departments.
The ideal candidate will match the following profile:
- Master's level qualification in accounting and finance
- First successful experience of 3 to 4 years within a big four audit firm with an audit exposure in the banking sector or a similar position within a bank
- IFRS reporting knowledge
- Knowledge of financial instruments
- Independent and proactive
- Bilingual French English
- Ability to travel if required
- Excellent team player
- “Hands-on” approach
Immediate and permanent full time position based in Geneva.
