Group Finance Manager – Shipping recruitment
A market leader in the shipping and maritime sector is looking to recruit a Group Finance Manager to lead a team and work from its prestigious headquarters in Singapore.
Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager, this talent will be responsible for preparing consolidated financial statements and statutory information, producing monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc financial reports timely and accurately, performing controlling functions in relation to providing accurate financial results and identifying weaknesses in contracts/systems and ensuring efficient accounting/controlling processes and procedures.
Other responsibilities will include assisting to manage tax exposure for the Group and make recommendations to minimize tax liability, provide tax advice to other departments when involved in projects and deals etc.
The successful candidate will hold a university degree in Accounting or Finance and be CPA qualified. 6 to 10 years experience in a relevant field of commercial accounting and audit background, in a blue chip environment. Minimum 3 years people management / supervisory experience. Experience in consolidation and controlling preference. Excellent communication and written skills.
