Group Finance Manager
A global FTSE retailer is looking for a Group Finance Manager. This role will be to take on a exciting role reporting to the Group Finance Controller managing a team of two.
The Finance Manager will be responsible for ensuring robust financial controls exist across the business, production of timely and accurate management accounts, preparation of statutory accounts, and compliance within statutory and regulatory guidelines. You will be a pivotal point for Finance in the business. Additionally, they would like to hire someone with experience in broader commercial issues and exposure to managing projects.
The role sits within the Group Accounting team. The role has three main areas of focus:
*Responsibility for the consolidation of the Group with annual revenue of approximately £2 billion+ operating in multiple countries internationally.
*Work with Group Accounting team to provide technical accounting expertise to the Group (main areas of focus are accounting implications of acquisitions disposals, one-off deals with suppliers and other more complex areas).
*Responsible for statutory reporting for Group (production of the annual report, support other UK finance teams with statutory filings).
Candidates should have a strong track record of career progression, impressive academics, be ACA or CA qualified. No specific industry experience needed though Retail or FMCG is a distinct advantage.
