Group Financial Accountant recruitment

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Consolidation of group entities including international subsidiaries

• Regular monthly trading analysis and reporting on group’s operating performance

• Monitoring of group cash flows and working capital

• Support for group corporate finance and restructuring activities

• Special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as required

• Assistance with budgeting, business planning and strategic planning activities

Candidate Profile

•  1 to 2 years post qualifying experience

•  Big 5 trained

•  Technically strong in IFRS and UK GAAP

•  Very good inter-personal skills

•  Can-do attitude

•  High calibre

•  Able to work independently

•  Experience of project management would be helpful

•  Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing

•  Ability to manage time, prioritise and ensure that deadlines are met without compromising quality

•  Analytical and problem-solving skills, including research and investigation.

•  Good at working flexibly within a small team, a team player

•  Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel

•  Knowledge of BPC and Smartstream not necessary but an advantage

•  A practical “hands on” approach
