Group Financial Reporting, AVP recruitment
Responsibilities
- Preparation of the financial statements of the Bank and its subsidiaries.
- Maintaining the accounting records of selected subsidiaries within the Bank Group.
- Ensure that the Bank and Group's accounting policies are aligned to developments in the Financial Reporting Standards (FRS), Exposure Drafts, Companies Act and other regulatory requirements.
- Identify, streamline and automate processes for effectiveness and efficiency.
Requirements
- At least 5 years experience in a Big 4 public accounting firm or in the financial services sector.
- Strong academic background.
- Preferably a qualified accountant e.g. CPA
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive, meticulous, with a high level of initiative and ability to work within tight deadlines.
