Group Head of Commodity and Structured Trade Finance

The Bank is expanding this product area on a Global basis and this is an opportunity to take a pivotal role in the development of the Trade and Commodity Finance offering in the EMEA region.

 

 

The Role:

 

As Group Head to manage and coordinate Group activities to achieve revenue income through the provision of Trade Finance solutions to the Banks EMEA client base.

To develop successful strategies for the Group by identifying market trends and client requirements.

To actively oversee and where appropriate participate in maintaining existing, and developing new, relationships with external clients in order to identify new business opportunities.

To maintain strong working relationships with all areas of the Bank in order to cross-sell the Banks products and to identify revenue generating opportunities.

To ensure product solutions are aligned with regulatory and institutional requirements.

To maximize returns across the Bank by selling the bank's network capabilities to clients or potential clients.

 

 

 

Candidates:

Will have held a Senior Managerial position in the Trade Finance department of a major Bank.

Will have strong leadership and management skills.

Will be able to demonstrate a track record of success in indentifying, structuring and delivering Structured Trade Finance and Commodity Finance products to a diverse client base.

Have strong marketing and client relationship management skills.

Show technical skills and the ability to structure and deliver Trade and Commodity Finance Solutions to client's needs.

Will have exceptional Credit skills and the ability to analyse and mitigate all underlying risk.

Comprehensive knowledge of Trade, Structured Trade Finance and Commodity Finance related products.

 

The ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams of professionals.

Should be Excellent communicators with the ability to influence strategic decisions.
