JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Group Home Manager / Q.M.R.P.
Reports To: Group Home Coordinator
Directs Work of: Group Home Assistant Managers, Residential Assistants, and Specialized Residential Assistants
Works closely with: Nursing Staff, Behavior Consultant, Staffing Resources Coordinator, Director of Residential Services, Assistant Director of Residential Services, Social Services Coordinator, Office Coordinator, and Outside Professionals
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client, employee, and agency information.
2. Emergency On Call
a. Stay within range 24 hours per day while on call. (Schedule determined by the management for each team. Generally each manager is on call for 1 of 3 weeks.)
b. Respond within 10 minutes of any call.
c. Provide assistance as needed. This includes but is not limited to: responding to
the home immediately in a crisis, finding staffing coverage, and working scheduled shifts as needed in the assigned home or the team home.
3. Household Management:
a. Oversee the day-to-day operation of the residential facility assigned.
b. Maintain and control all supplies with a systematic method of purchasing, accountability and budget control.
c. Oversee records for confidentiality and retrieval: personnel, finance, health, incident reports, etc.
d. Coordinate the physical management of the house: cleaning, laundry, shopping, maintenance, etc.
e. Monitor all house rules related to safety, sanitation, behavior, medication, visitation, etc.
