Group Internal Auditor
A Global Financial Services company is looking for a qualified accountant with strong external/internal audit experience (ideally within retail insurance covering both Life and GI providers).
The Group Internal Auditor will deliver quality assurance work to evaluate effectiveness of risk management and the control environment across all functions of the Group. The Group Internal Auditor will also set appropriate budgets and manage against budgets on a timely basis.
The successful candidate will ideally have a sound understanding and knowledge of accounting and financial reporting risks in insurers, and how these are measured and managed. This understanding could include such areas as reinsurance, ALM, treasury and/or capital management.
A strong understanding of and exposure to key initiatives/projects such as Solvency II, Finance Transformation and IFRS is essential. The Internal Auditor must be tenacious, driven and keen to prove themselves in order to progress
