Position Summary

The Group Leader's primarily focus is to service WesTech's customers with their Aftermarket parts needs. The Group Leader must be customer service focused and able to inspire and direct others to do the same. Continue to build and grow Aftermarket sales through providing direction and leadership to the group.

Success Indicators:

·       Increasing Aftermarket sales across more products and markets than we are currently. Successfully achieve establish sales forecasts.

·       Increased support, cooperation and excitement in Aftermarket sales will be realized due to focused efforts to engage and involve internal business units and groups within WesTech (such as International WesTech Offices, Market Sales Managers, Production Groups and Sales Agents).

·       Individual group members' goals will be aligned to achieve the vision of the Aftermarket Sales group.

·       Financial performance goals will be achieved. Individual ownership of the groups' financial performance will be shared throughout the group.

·       Plant Customer Account Managers will be successful in their efforts to work closely with plant owners and operators of WesTech equipment. WesTech's sales agents in the territory will welcome the additional plant owner support offered by WesTech. An increase in Aftermarket sales opportunities, such as new capital equipment, retrofits of competitor's equipment, refurbishments and upgrades of WesTech equipment will result from these efforts. Feedback from owners and operators will be incorporated into an active product improvement campaign.

 

Essential Job Functions

·       Effectively motivate, teach, inspire, and lead the group to realize the mission and vision of Aftermarket Parts sales. Provide leadership, direction and guidance in achieving this vision.

·       Increase Aftermarket sales throughout the entire WesTech organization through implementation of the global company strategy.

·       Lead by example. Your attitude is critical for success and a positive attitude will lead to high morale within the group. Be accessible and willing to help.

·       Excellent communication skills are essential. Clear and effective written and verbal communications, in both group and one-on-one settings, is required.

·       Know our customer's needs and expectations and insure we do our very best in fulfilling these.

·       As the Group Leader, the groups' success, in part, is a result of effectively listening to and encouraging group members to achieve their individual best performance.

·       Proficient and experienced in organizing and executing work either completed by oneself or through others using principles such as regular goal setting, prioritization, delegation, follow through and feedback.

·       Must be able to understand financial statements.
