Your New Role
Our client is a market-leading Australian group with revenues in excess of $400m. As a result of market growth they are looking for a Management Accountant within the Sydney Head Office.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller you will be responsible for all aspects of group management reporting to the board and senior management team. You will interact with the CFO and Ops managers on a day-to-day basis with a principal focus on budgeting and forecasting cash management.
Your Duties
- Budgeting Forecasting
- Reporting the consolidated group results,
- Producing the month end management reporting packs and associated commentary and supporting the Financial Controller, as well as being involved in a variety of ad-hoc projects as required.
- Liaision with site managers
Your Background
- First-class academics CPA/ CA qualified,
- Post-qualification experience operating in a complex commercial organisation, gained within a management accounting or financial reporting role, ideally at a group level. This will ideally have been gained within a capital-intensive or infrastructure related business.
- Candidates will be of high potential and likely to be on the ascendancy in their career. They will demonstrate proven commercial acumen and an inquisitive nature, coupled with intermediate/advanced Excel and strong analysis skills.
- Good presentation and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stake-holders within the group and potential to progress to the next level.
