This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced risk manager, big four trained with experience within Financial Services to move into an enterprise risk compliance manager role in a leading bank. This is an autonomous role with no direct reports as yet.
You will be responsible for assisting the Risk and Compliance team in the delivery of the group operational risk management and internal policies for the group business units
Your key objectives will be:
- To take ownership of specific Operational risk framework assignments, review test controls
- Work with the senior manager to develop the scope of assignments
- Lead the planning and execution of operational risk engagement across the business unit
- Contribute to the provision of a draft written option to senior assurance manager on outcomes of operational risk assurance
- High level role working closely with and advising senior management daily
As the successful candidate for the role you will possess the following:
- Operational risk/Internal audit/External Audit experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge APS115 and Basel 11 highly desirable
